FAQ
Will the cut introduce silence at the boundaries?
A few ms of silence is possible because MP3 frames are ~26 ms long and the cutter snaps to frame boundaries. For sample-accurate edits, convert to WAV first using the Audio Converter.
Does it preserve ID3 tags?
Yes — title, artist, album, and cover art tags are copied to the trimmed output.
Does this run in my browser?
Yes — the tool uses FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. Your file never uploads to a server, never leaves your device, and there is no signup or watermark.
