Remove Yellow from Footage for Cleaner Whites

This tutorial demonstrates a practical technique for correcting yellow or orange color casts in video footage, resulting in more neutral white tones.

The Technique

1. Apply the Lumetri Color effect to your footage
2. Navigate to the Curves tab and locate the Hue vs Saturation curve
3. Create three control points on the Orange, Yellow, and Green sections
4. Drag the yellow point downward to reduce saturation in yellow tones

This desaturation approach removes unwanted warm tones while preserving the overall image quality more naturally than traditional white balance corrections.
