How to use these

Each example is one technique isolated from everything else, which is the point: a match cut is easier to understand when it is not buried in a three-minute edit. Watch the example first without reading the explanation and try to name what is happening — where the cut lands, what the two shots have in common, why the colour sits where it does. Then open the tutorial and check whether you were right. Copying the result teaches less than working out the decision behind it.

LevelBeginner examples turn on one decision. Intermediate ones depend on two or three working together, which is why they look harder than they are.
SoftwareNamed because the tutorial uses it, not because the technique needs it. A match cut works the same in any editor.
