Why people choose VEED

  • Polished editor UI with timeline, layers, and preview.
  • Built-in stock library and AI features (auto-subtitles, voice clone) on paid plans.
  • Team collaboration on Pro tier.

What we do differently

  • No upload means privacy-sensitive footage stays on your machine.
  • No artificial file-size cap — local processing has no business reason for one.
  • No watermark on any export, free or otherwise.
  • Open in seconds — no signup, no email, no payment screen.

What you give up by switching

  • The timeline. VEED is a real editor with layers, transitions and a preview; these are single-purpose tools that do one operation and hand back a file.
  • Auto-subtitles. VEED transcribes for you. Here you bring an SRT and burn it in, which means finding a transcription step elsewhere.
  • Anything shared. There is no project, no link to send a colleague and no comment thread, because there is no server holding the file.

Questions about moving off VEED

Can I remove a VEED watermark with this?

No, and nothing can — a watermark is burned into the exported pixels. What you can do is not create one: re-export the source footage through these tools instead of through a free VEED export.

Does this replace VEED entirely?

Only if your use of VEED is file operations — trimming, compressing, converting, extracting audio, burning in subtitles you already have. If you use the timeline, the stock library or the AI features, it does not.

What about files bigger than VEED's free limit?

There is no upload here, so there is no plan limit. The practical ceiling is how much your browser can hold in memory, which on a normal laptop is roughly a couple of gigabytes.
